What the work involves
Lead Work, start to finish
Lead is where most roofs leak, because it is where most roofers cut corners. We form flashings, valleys, soakers, chimney saddles and bay tops in the correct code lead, cut to the right lengths with proper laps and expansion joints, chased and wedged into the mortar joint rather than smeared over with sealant.

Why does my chimney keep leaking?
Almost always the flashing. Cement fillets crack, mastic repairs fail within a couple of years, and a lot of chimneys were never given proper stepped flashing and soakers to begin with. Formed lead solves it permanently.
Can lead be repaired or does it need replacing?
Split lead can sometimes be lead welded, but where the split is caused by bays being too long the metal will simply split again. In that case we reform it in the correct lengths.
