Rotten fascias and soffits let water into the roof structure and give birds and wasps a way in. We strip the old timber back, check the rafter feet, then fit new fascia, soffit and bargeboard in low maintenance uPVC with continuous ventilation built into the run.

Should fascias be capped over or replaced?
Replaced. Capping traps damp timber behind new plastic and the rot carries on out of sight. It looks fine for a year and costs more to put right later.
Do you replace the guttering at the same time?
Usually yes, because the gutter has to come off to fit the fascia. It is the cheapest time to renew it and it means the whole eaves line is finished together.
