MB Roofing Specialists wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What we have done
This website has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA, and with the Equality Act 2010 in mind. In practice that means:
- Every part of the site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
- A skip to content link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
- Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, and large text at least 3 to 1.
- Headings run in a logical order with a single H1 on each page.
- Every image carries descriptive alt text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields have visible labels, errors are described in words next to the field, and nothing relies on colour alone.
- The cookie banner is keyboard operable, moves focus to itself when it opens, and is not a keyboard trap.
- Animation is reduced automatically if your device is set to prefer reduced motion.
- Text can be resized to 200 per cent without loss of content or function, and the layout reflows on small screens.
Known limitations
Content added after launch, such as photographs added to service pages or documents attached to pages, depends on the description entered at the time. If you find something without a proper description, tell us and we will fix it.
